Frequently Asked Questions
Lawn Spraying is a term used to describe lawn and ornamental pest control. The main purpose of lawn spraying is the health of your lawn - keeping it well feed and free of pests.
My philosophy of lawn spraying is to encourage the St Augustine with good fertility, kill the more serious pest like chinch bugs, grubs and mole crickets and constantly discourage the weeds. And from those three efforts your St Augustine grass SHOULD get better and better. I say "should" because there is two things required of the owner - water as often as law permits and mow as high as your mower will go.

Six (6) times per year is the basic service. I also offer Nine (9) and Twelve (12) times per year. The basic service (6 times per year) provides for excellent insect control, medium fertility levels and fair weed control. For better weed control I suggest nine or twelve times per year.
The best way to describe the products I use is "safe". The EPA and other government agencies have strong armed our industry into submission and compliance. Only the concentrated forms of the products I use are harmful to people and pets – and I keep those locked up. The most dangerous chemical on my truck is the antifreeze in the truck motor!
Nothing I spray on the lawn is known to be harmful to people or pets but it does stain. So it is best to stay of the lawn until it dries usually after an hour.
Mow the lawn as high as the mower will go, water as often and as much as the law permits and pay me at least once per year.
