There is No Water Shortage

Every drop of water that was here at creation is still on this planet (except what may have been ferried into outer space by various space agencies). Water exists in a perpetual cycle, the water cycle – water literally falls from the sky as part of the water cycle. We are not depleting the water on the planet. Again all the water that was here at creation is still here.

Water Cycle - Never Ending Rinse and Repeat

Poor Planning

The shortage is a manufacturing shortage. The county simply cannot produce enough potable water to go around. That is not a water shortage problem - that is a production problem. The county has failed to provide enough potable water producing facilities to produce enough potable water for the people of Pinellas County.

Transfer of Blame

Somehow, somewhere, the production problem was spun into a water shortage – which we know is a lie because we still have the same amount of water we started with! Probably when friendly neighbor "A" saw nasty neighbor "B" watering the lawn and thought "What a waste of water" and called the water department. So the production problem the county was having suddenly became a finger pointing straight at the nasty lawn owner watering his/her lawn! How convenient!

Summary

Let me summarize: There is no Water Shortage! It has nothing to do with watering your lawn from a well. It has everything to do with the powers and principalities inability to manage the production of potable water. And there is a huge air gap between your irrigation system and the infrastructure the county failed to provide to produce potable water.

What can You Do?

Let me encourage you to contact your public offices and representatives and ask them to explain to you why you cannot water your lawn when there is no water shortage?
